    Meet Our Team

    Beth Osborne, M.Ed., BSW

    Beth is the Executive Director of Waiver Services from Lebanon, Kentucky. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Education from Campbellsville University.

    Beth has always wanted to pursue a career working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Both of her parents worked for companies serving this population, and she grew up in an environment where inclusion was highly valued. At age 18, she began working in residential facilities and providing community support to individuals with disabilities while pursuing her college degree. She has served as a case manager, special education teacher, behavior support specialist, and now as executive director of H.O.P.E.’s waiver services department. Over her 28 years in the field, she has been blessed to get to know so many special individuals in the IDD community.

    In her free time, Beth enjoys cruising, spending time with friends and family, and giving her undivided attention to her Aussiedoodle, Baylee.

    Tammy Mattingly, M.Ed., B.S., LPCC-S

    Tammy is a Therapist in the Counseling Program and Owner of H.O.P.E. from Lebanon, Kentucky. She earned her Master of Education in Professional Counseling and Human Development from Lindsey Wilson College and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Campbellsville University.

    Tammy believes that everyone has the potential for growth and positive change, regardless of their past or circumstances. She is passionate about assisting people in meeting personal goals and improving their everyday life.

    In her free time, Tammy enjoys spending time with her two adult children and her dogs. She loves the water, both pools and beaches, and travels as often as possible.

    Brody Mattingly, CGC

    Brody has completed his Therapy Dog certification for an emotional and social support animal. Brody’s mother is the Clinical Director and Co-Owner at H.O.P.E.  Brody’s mother is excited to offer a different approach to treating mental health symptomology in a rural area. He enjoys lifting spirits and lessening anxious or depressed moods. Also having experience in lowering feelings of isolation and encouraging communication with H.O.P.E. clients. In his free time, Brody enjoys playing fetch, getting belly rubs, and playing with his older brother, Katsuki.

    Abigail Bartley

    Abigail currently serves as a peer mentor with the Therapeutic Rehabilitation Program (TRP) camp at our Lebanon location. She is a student at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC), pursuing her academic and professional goals. Abigail has a strong passion for working with both animals and children. Outside of her professional and academic responsibilities, she enjoys spending quality time with her two children.

    Athena Coman, B.A., CSA 

    Athena is from Columbia, Kentucky. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and Counseling from Lindsey Wilson University in April 2024. She is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Counseling at Lindsey Wilson University and is expected to graduate in August 2026. Athena also holds a Community Support Associate certification.

    Athena finds mental health to be both interesting and relevant in every individual’s daily life. She is compassionate toward others and strives to help people become the best versions of themselves. In her work, she is dedicated to supporting individuals as they pursue growth, healing, and positive change.

    In her free time, Athena enjoys spending time with her family and watching her son grow. She previously cheered throughout high school and college and continues her involvement in the sport as a graduate assistant coach at Lindsey Wilson University.

    Beverly Thomas, M.A., Rank I

    Beverly is a Positive Behavior Support Specialist from Lebanon, Kentucky. She earned a Master of Arts in Education in Instructional Leadership in 2004 and holds Rank I certification in EBD K-12 from Eastern Kentucky University, earned in 1995.

    Beverly has always had a passion for helping others. Her years of teaching gave her the experience to work with students who faced challenges in the classroom. After retiring, she wanted to continue providing services and resources to those who face daily challenges. She has a strong desire to play a role in improving their quality of life.

    In her free time, Beverly enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

    Brianna Taylor, M.Ed., LPCC-S

    Brianna is a Therapist in the Counseling Program and Regional Director of Therapeutic Services from Harlan, Kentucky. She earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling and Human Development from Lindsey Wilson University in 2019 and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and Counseling from Lindsey Wilson University in 2017.

    Brianna was drawn to the field of counseling through a desire to support others, a role that felt natural and meaningful. Over time, she became aware of how stigma and misunderstanding prevent people from seeking help, motivating her to be an advocate for mental health and a voice for change. Growing up, she witnessed the impact of unmet mental health needs in her community and felt compelled to be part of the solution. Brianna has always enjoyed learning about human behavior and emotional growth.

    In her free time, Brianna enjoys reading and spending time with her husband, daughter, and pets, which include two dogs and two cats.

    Chelsea Crutchfield, B.A., M.S.

    Chelsea is a Positive Behavior Support Specialist from Danville, Kentucky. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis from Eastern Kentucky University. She is currently working toward her BCBA certification and expects to complete it in Summer 2026.

    After obtaining her bachelor’s degree, Chelsea began her career as an elementary teacher. During her two years in education, she discovered her calling for supporting students with developmental and intellectual disabilities. This passion led her to pursue a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. Now, as a PBSS, Chelsea genuinely loves what she does and finds helping clients work toward their goals exceptionally rewarding.

    Outside of her work as a PBSS, Chelsea is a part-time stay-at-home mom who enjoys spending time with her family, baking, and reading.

    Chonda Saettel, MSW, CSW, PBSS

    Chonda recently graduated from Campbellsville University with a master’s degree in social work. Graduating from Lindsey Wilson College with a bachelor’s degree in human services and counseling. Working with clients ages 3 to 100 with various learning abilities, mental diagnoses, and substance use disorders. She loves spending time with her family and friends and loves doing anything outdoors. Also passing her master’s exam and is waiting for full licensure credentialing.

    Dalyn Mattingly, B.A.

    Dalyn graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology, in 2025. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Counseling at Lindsey Wilson University and is projected to graduate in August of 2027.

    In his free time, Dalyn enjoys playing golf and spending time with family and friends.

    Danielle Spoon, M.A., Ph.D. 

    Danielle is a Positive Behavior Support Specialist from Columbia, Kentucky. She earned her Master’s degree in Special Education from Campbellsville University. She is currently attending Ball State University, where she is pursuing a Ph.D. in Special Education along with certification in Applied Behavior Analysis.

    Danielle enjoys working with individuals with disabilities and finds great fulfillment in watching them grow and become more independent. She is passionate about supporting clients as they build skills that increase confidence and improve quality of life.

    In her free time, Danielle enjoys all things art and music, as well as spending time with her three children and her cats.

    Daisy Browning, B.S.

    Daisy is a Therapy Intern, Community Support Specialist, and Graduate Intern from Russell Springs, Kentucky. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work at the University of Kentucky, with a projected graduation in December 2025.

    Daisy has always been interested in the study of the brain, behavior, and its application in real-world social contexts. She is passionate about walking alongside clients to explore their emotional processing, mental health, and personal growth.

    In her free time, Daisy enjoys reading, practicing Pilates, and playing with her dog.

    Dariann Updike, M.Ed., LPCC

    Dariann is a Therapist in the Counseling Program and TRP Support Staff member from Columbia, Kentucky. She earned her Master of Education from Lindsey Wilson University and holds LPCC licensure.

    Dariann chose the field of counseling to help instill a sense of worth in others and to serve as a positive, supportive mentor in their lives. She is passionate about creating a safe and encouraging environment where clients feel valued and supported as they work toward their goals.

    In her free time, Dariann enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

    Elisha Rhodes, PBSS, B.S., M.Ed., M.A.

    Elisha is a Positive Behavior Support Specialist from Campbellsville, Kentucky. She earned a P–5 Education degree before obtaining a Master of Education in School Counseling and a Master of Arts in Instructional Leadership. She also holds certifications as an Instructional Supervisor, Director of Pupil Personnel DPP, and Superintendent. Elisha is currently working toward completing a master’s in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling to further expand her ability to support students and families.

    Supporting students through their behavioral, social-emotional, and academic challenges has always been at the heart of Elisha’s work. She enjoys analyzing behavior patterns, creating targeted interventions, coaching staff, and working directly with students to build self-regulation, communication, problem-solving, and social-emotional skills. Helping a student learn to cope, connect, and succeed not only in school but in life is incredibly meaningful to her.

    Elisha is married to her college sweetheart, Nathan, and together they live on their farm in Merrimac with their three boys. She strives to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those around her and aims to love others as Jesus does. In her free time, Elisha enjoys spending time with her family on the farm and serving her community.

    Emily Hughes, B.A., M.Ed., LPCA

    Emily is a Therapist in the Counseling Program from Russell County, Kentucky. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services and Counseling, followed by a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lindsey Wilson University.

    After spending a great deal of time in prayer during her senior year of high school, Emily felt a clear calling to become a faith-based counselor. She is passionate about walking alongside individuals as they seek hope, healing, and restoration. Her desire is that every person who sits before her feels supported, encouraged, and reminded that they are not alone in their journey.

    In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband and baby girl. She also loves traveling and visiting local coffee shops.

    Jayda is a Therapist in the Social Work Program from Danville, Kentucky. She earned her Master’s degree from the University of Kentucky and is a Certified Social Worker (CSW).

    Jayda’s personal and lived experiences inspired her to help others. She is passionate about supporting clients as they navigate challenges and work toward personal growth.

    In her free time, Jayda enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, trying new foods, and exploring new experiences.

    Jessica Halcomb, M.Ed., LPCA

    Jessica is a Therapist in the Counseling Program from Columbia, Kentucky. She earned her Master of Education from Lindsey Wilson College and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Associate (LPCA).

    Jessica chose the counseling field because she believes in the power of being truly seen, heard, and supported. She is drawn to helping others feel empowered, understood, and less alone as they navigate life’s challenges. Her goal as a therapist is to create a warm, compassionate space where individuals can explore their experiences, recognize their strengths, and move toward healing and growth.

    In her free time, Jessica enjoys being a mom, spending time at home with her family, cooking, and keeping things organized. She is a homebody at heart, but she also enjoys shopping and decorating.

     

    Jessica Halcomb, Therapist

    Heather Smothers, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA

    Heather is a Positive Behavior Support Specialist for H.O.P.E. and is a former Exceptional Child Educator at Marion County Knight Academy in the Marion County Public School System. She first started working with students with disabilities at age 19 in an adapted Physical Education class while receiving her bachelor’s in physical and health education at Berea College. Heather went on to work as an interventionist working with students struggling in the areas of Social Studies and Science at St. Charles Middle School while working on her master’s degree in special education at Campbellsville University. Upon completion of her master’s degree, Heather was hired in the Marion County public school system as a Moderate/Severe Disabilities Teacher. This prompted her to continue her education receiving a Rank 1 from Eastern Kentucky University in Moderate to Severe Disabilities paired with an Autism Certification. While working on her Rank 1 she was hired at Home of the Innocents (2015) providing Behavior Support for Children and families receiving Michelle P. Waiver. In 2017, Heather started working at HOPE providing Behavior Support for Children and Families. Heather is currently working on becoming a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. Heather enjoys working hard to help individuals with different abilities reach their full potential. In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time outdoors and riding horses.

    Jackie is the Billing Specialist for H.O.P.E. As our billing specialist she takes care of a variety of financial and non-financial tasks to help guarantee each client is receiving services. Jackie handles the processing of incoming payments along with the issuing of necessary paperwork. Her passion is to help others, and she loves being able to do that through her position at H.O.P.E. Aside from helping others; Jackie enjoys spending time with her husband and three children as well as her two dogs. She also enjoys outings with her friends.

    Jackie graduated from Danville High School and studied at Mid Continent University for a year. She has worn many hats in her career with titles of Accounts Payable, Bookkeeper, Team Leader, Medical Records, Manager, CNA, Rehab Tech, and Residential Assistant.  In her free time, she loves spending time with her grandkids, hunting, and fishing.

    Jill is a Positive Behavior Support Specialist from Lebanon, Kentucky. She earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Kentucky and a Master’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University, and holds Rank I certification.

    Jill enjoys making a difference in the lives of those she works with and brings decades of experience to her role, having taught for 26 years.

    In her free time, Jill enjoys spending time with her family. She is married and has four children.

    Kim is a Therapist in the Social Work Program from Kentucky. She is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and is passionate about helping others heal from life’s struggles. Kim strives to support clients in improving holistic living and serves as a motivator and cheerleader for those who may have never had one.

    In her free time, Kim enjoys riding horses, hiking, taking vacations, spending time with family and friends, doing activities on the farm, and gardening.

    Kaitlyn is an Office Staff member and Billing Specialist from Marion County, Kentucky. She came to H.O.P.E. from internal medicine billing and working in a long-term care facility. Kaitlyn enjoys working with numbers, problem solving, and advocating to ensure all insurance claims are processed and paid accurately.

    Kaitlyn was born and raised in Marion County. She is married to her best friend and is blessed with four children, two biological and two bonus. In her free time, she enjoys spending time on her farm with all of their animals, traveling, and being with family and friends.

    Karley is currently completing a practicum placement at H.O.P.E. She earned an Associate in Arts and is currently attending Lindsey Wilson University, majoring in Human Services and Counseling with a minor in Psychology, with an expected graduation in 2027.

    Karley has always enjoyed helping people and wanted to turn her passion into a career. She is highly empathetic and values supporting individuals as they work toward personal growth and well-being.

    Kayla Nalley, B.S., M.S.

    Kayla is a Positive Behavior Support Specialist from Loretto, Kentucky. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in General Studies from Eastern Kentucky University and a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Autism from Ball State University.

    Kayla fell in love with this field at a young age while volunteering at her mother’s workplace. She was drawn to Behavior Analysis after accepting an RBT position, where she discovered her passion for analyzing behavior, teaching skills to change behavior, collaborating with others, and making a meaningful impact in clients’ lives.

    In her free time, Kayla enjoys spending time with her husband and children, going to the lake, and reading.

    Lauren is a Case Manager and Therapy Intern from Raywick, Kentucky. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Campbellsville University and is currently enrolled at the University of Kentucky, where she will begin her Master’s in Social Work in January.

    Lauren chose social work because she wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. She is passionate about the mental health field and believes social work can empower individuals to reach their full potential. She strives to provide resources and support that help clients navigate challenges and achieve their goals. Pursuing her Master’s in Social Work is part of her commitment to better serve her community.

    Layla is a Community Support Associate from Greensburg, Kentucky. She will graduate in Spring 2026 with two Bachelor’s degrees in Human Services and Counseling and Christian Ministry. Afterward, she will begin her Master’s program in Mental Health Therapy.

    Layla loves helping others live life to their fullest ability and is passionate about supporting individuals as they work toward growth, independence, and well-being.

    Lisa is a Therapist in the Social Work Program from Marion County, Kentucky. She earned her Master of Social Work in Individual & Family Clinical from Liberty University, a Bachelor’s in Family & Consumer Science with an Individual & Family Cognate and a Criminology minor from Western Kentucky University, and an Associate of Arts & Humanities from West Kentucky Community & Technical College. She also holds a Certificate in Family Home Visiting and is a Certified Social Worker (CSW).

    Lisa has a passion for helping others reach their full potential and is committed to supporting clients as they work toward growth, healing, and success.

    In her free time, Lisa enjoys all things art, including music, and spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

    Monica is a Community Support Associate and TRP Support Staff member from Springfield, Kentucky. She earned an Associate of Arts from ECTC and will begin her Bachelor’s in Psychology in Spring 2026. She also holds a Community Support Associate certification.

    Monica has always had an interest in psychology and art and enjoys applying her creativity and compassion in her work with clients.

    In her free time, Monica enjoys traveling and attending conventions with friends while on vacation.

    Sabrina is a Case Manager from Campbellsville, Kentucky. She earned her Master of Social Work and is a Targeted Case Manager TCM. Sabrina’s path to social work is rooted in both purpose and personal experience. Through her own mental health journey, she has gained insight, empathy, and a deep commitment to helping others feel seen, supported, and empowered to overcome life’s challenges.

    Sabrina is passionate about walking alongside individuals as they navigate difficult seasons of life. She strives to create a supportive environment where clients feel understood and encouraged as they work toward their personal goals.

    In her free time, Sabrina enjoys spending time with family and friends, being with her two dogs, sewing, and reading.

    Teresa is from Michigan and serves in Compliance. She earned her Bachelor of Arts and brings a thoughtful perspective to her work. Teresa finds human behavior fascinating and values understanding the systems and processes that support effective services.

    Ty is a Community Support Associate and TRP Support Staff member from Campbellsville, Kentucky. He is currently attending ECTC, majoring in Agriculture Education, with an expected graduation in 2028.

    Ty loves helping others and encouraging them to do better, just as he pushes himself to grow and improve. He is passionate about supporting clients as they build skills, confidence, and independence.

    In his free time, Ty enjoys trying new foods, spending time with friends, going on cruises, and traveling to new places.

    Morgan is a Community Support Associate from Columbia, Kentucky. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and Counseling with a minor in Criminal Justice from Lindsey Wilson University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Counseling and Human Development, expected to graduate in 2027, also from Lindsey Wilson University. She holds a Community Support Associate certification.

    Malissa is passionate about helping individuals enhance their overall quality of life using evidence-based behavior analytic principles to teach essential skills and reinforce positive behaviors.

    In her free time, Malissa enjoys spending time with her family and traveling to new places.
